This course is designed for those who are planning to practice podiatry in the state of Arizona and have not yet obtained a license. To become licensed as a podiatrist, you must be able to demonstrate that you meet the criteria for licensure. In addition, you must provide evidence of completion of an accredited curriculum from an accredited college or university.

The Arizona Board of Podiatric Medicine requires that all applicants complete one year of postgraduate training before applying for licensure. Applicants who have completed their medical education outside the United States must provide evidence of equivalency by obtaining a certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
