The New York State Veterinary Board of Examiners administers the New York State Veterinarian License Learning Course. The course is designed to give the student a general overview of veterinary medicine and its principles. The course is designed for students who have not yet obtained an undergraduate degree in veterinary medicine. On completion of this course, students will be eligible to take the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
