South Dakota Boxing Managers Learning Course

[South Dakota Boxing Managers Learning Course] The South Dakota Boxing Managers Learning Course is a two (2) day course that is designed to provide Boxing Managers with the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful in their profession. This course will assist managers in gaining the knowledge required to work with boxers, promoters and sanctioning organizations. The curriculum includes:

• Contracts. This section covers types of contracts and clauses commonly used in boxing. You will learn the importance of having a written contract, what type of clauses should be included in your fighter's contract and how to negotiate these clauses with other parties involved in your fighter's career.

• Legal Issues. In this section we will discuss legal issues that arise from different aspects of boxing. We will cover basic legal principles as well as specific issues relating to professional boxing such as criminal law, civil law, tort law, employment law, licensing and tax laws that may impact your fighter's career.

• Financial Issues & Taxes. This section will include an overview of financial issues & taxes that may arise from different aspects of professional boxing such as business entities including limited liability companies (LLCs), corporations (C-Corps), partnerships (LLPs) and sole proprietorships (S-Corps). You will learn how Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
