The South Dakota Chiropractic Radiographic Assistant Learning Course is a comprehensive, hands-on training course that prepares students to become licensed and certified chiropractic radiographic assistants. The program is approved by the South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

This course meets the requirements of the South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners for licensure as a chiropractic radiographer. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible for certification by ARRT.

Course Outline

The curriculum includes lectures, demonstrations, simulations, skills training and practice exams. Students must pass a written test in order to receive their certification from ARRT. In addition to classroom instruction, students will receive clinical experience at an approved radiology facility near their home state where they will learn how to perform imaging procedures under supervision while they are still enrolled in the program.
