A Class B electrical license is required to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and equipment in residential and commercial buildings. South Dakota's Electrical Licensing Board has jurisdiction over the licensing of all electricians in the state. This course is designed to prepare you for the state E-10 test. South Dakota Electrical Code:

The South Dakota Electrical Code is based on national codes such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E as well as state laws and regulations. Each supplement contains changes made to the NEC since its last edition was published along with new requirements not previously contained in the NEC itself but which are deemed necessary due to technological advances or other reasons.
