The hearing aid dispenser Learning Course is designed for those who want to become a hearing aid dispenser in South Dakota. It includes three modules:
Module 1 - Basic Anatomy and Physiology (4 hours) - Introduction to the anatomy and physiology of the ear; hearing loss; principles of amplification; basic concepts in acoustics. Module 2 - Basic Acoustics (4 hours) - Frequency response curve; impedances; impedance matching devices; acoustic gain curves; filter characteristics; microphones and receivers. Module 3 - Professional Ethics (1 hour) - Ethical responsibilities as a professional such as confidentiality, record keeping, billing procedures, complaints filed against practitioners by patients or others involved with their care, use of advertising materials and marketing strategies that may be used within your business or agency setting to promote your services/products to consumers in need of professional services/products Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn.
