The South Dakota K-12 Blind/Visually Impaired Learning Course is a free online course designed to help educators with students who are blind or visually impaired. The course is designed around the needs of teachers in grades K-12 who work with students who are blind or visually impaired. The course consists of 12 modules that provide an overview of blindness and visual impairment, including causes and characteristics; instructional strategies for blind and visually impaired students; adaptations for classroom materials, equipment, and furniture; accommodations for the blind student; assistive technology resources; and resources for parents. The modules include videos, readings, activities and quizzes that can be completed at your own pace. This course is not intended to substitute for professional development opportunities provided by your school district or state agency but will provide additional resources beyond those provided by your district or state agency Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
