South Dakota Osteopath Learning Course
[South Dakota Osteopath Learning Course] The South Dakota Osteopath Learning Course is designed for physicians and physician assistants who have completed a postgraduate residency training program in osteopathic medicine.
The course is offered by the South Dakota Center for Osteopathic Education and Research (SDCORE) at the University of South Dakota School of Osteopathic Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota.
The course consists of 18 hours of didactic lectures and seminars that cover various topics related to the practice of osteopathic medicine. The course also includes two nights of Grand Rounds sessions that include discussions on current issues in medical practice, as well as case presentations.
Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate from SDCORE that can be used to satisfy continuing education requirements for licensure or recertification in South Dakota.
