The South Dakota Physical Therapy Assistants Learning Course (APTA) is a self-paced, online course that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to begin a career in physical therapy. This course has been approved for 6 hours of continuing education credit for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. The course contains 30 lessons including video presentations, interactive activities, multiple choice quizzes and case studies.

The APTA was developed by the South Dakota chapter of APTA to prepare students for their first year of employment as an entry level physical therapy assistant in South Dakota. It is also an excellent resource for experienced PTA's who wish to further their knowledge of different modalities and treatment approaches or want to become certified in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study.
