The following South Dakota School Guidance Counselor Learning Course is intended to be used in conjunction with the following material: South Dakota School Counselor Course: PRACTICUM Instruction Manual and the South Dakota School Counselor Skills Evaluation Manual.

In addition to completing this course, students are required to complete a field experience consisting of at least 1,200 hours at a school counseling office or educational service agency. Students must complete the field experience in no fewer than three school years. The course and field experience together meet the requirements for certification as a school counselor in South Dakota. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn.
