The South Dakota School Teacher, Kindergarten Learning Course is designed for students who wish to become certified to teach in a kindergarten classroom in the State of South Dakota. The course consists of two semesters of study: fall and spring. Students will be required to complete an internship in a kindergarten classroom during each semester.

The first semester is completed through online learning in preparation for the student teaching placement. The second semester is spent in a local kindergarten classroom under the supervision of an experienced teacher.

This program is designed for students who have completed at least 60 college credits or its equivalent by the time they enroll. Students should also have knowledge of basic computer skills as well as basic reading, writing and math skills. Students must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in written form. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
