The South Dakota School Teacher, Secondary Special Education Learning Course is a comprehensive program that provides teachers with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach students with disabilities. The Learning Course is designed to provide educators with the skills to: (1) identify student needs; (2) select appropriate instructional strategies; (3) implement instructional programs; and (4) evaluate outcomes for students with disabilities.

The Learning Course consists of two components: a 600-hour professional development component and a 300-hour field experience component. The professional development component includes an online survey course, interactive online discussions, reading assignments, and online research assignments. The field experience component includes site visits at schools where teachers will observe or participate in instruction with students who have disabilities. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
