The South Dakota School Teacher, Special Education Learning Course is a four-week summer program designed to prepare candidates for the South Dakota teacher certification examination. The course will be held at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

The course is designed to provide candidates with an opportunity to receive intensive instruction in all areas of special education. The specific focus of this course is to prepare candidates for the Praxis II examinations which are required for certification in South Dakota. Candidates must complete all required coursework (including Praxis II examinations) in order to receive a certificate of completion from Northern State University.
