The South Dakota Water Distribution Operator (WDOP) Learning Course is a two-day classroom and field training course that prepares individuals to operate water systems and distribution facilities in the state of South Dakota. This course includes instruction on basic water distribution system operation and maintenance, as well as comprehensive training on chemical treatment, sampling and analysis, maintenance activities related to water distribution systems, fire protection and prevention, emergency response planning, and personnel safety.
