The purpose of this course is to provide professional development training for managers and superintendents of LP Gas systems who are required to obtain a Limited Permit from the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development (TDLWD).

Participants will learn how to install and maintain equipment used in natural gas distribution systems, including gas meters, pressure regulators, regulators, relief valves and associated piping. This course will also cover the inspection requirements for these items as specified in Chapter 13 of the National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 58B: Installation, Maintenance and Repair of Portable Gasoline Containing Equipment.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for anyone who performs or supervises work on LP Gas Systems or who has responsibility for ensuring compliance with DOT regulations regarding LP Gas Systems.
