This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level work as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). This course is approved by the Tennessee Board of Examiners for Medical, Osteopathic and Podiatric Medicine (TBOM) and is designed to lead to state licensure.

The curriculum includes all of the topics required for PTA licensure in Tennessee. The curriculum meets all of the national standards set forth by the National Commission on Certification of Physical Therapists (NCCPT) and is certified by NCCPT throughout the duration of study. All instructors are certified physical therapists who have been practicing for at least five years and have been trained in teaching physical therapy courses.

This program is offered in a classroom setting with hands-on instruction provided by experienced physical therapists. Students will learn how to assess, analyze, manipulate, mobilize and assist patients with activities of daily living as well as with exercises that contribute to improvement in mobility and functional capacity. License Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
