Vermont Chimney Sweep Learning Course

[Vermont Chimney Sweep Learning Course] The Vermont Chimney Sweep Learning Course is a state-approved, non-credit course. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely clean and inspect wood burning stoves, fireplaces and chimneys. This course is also designed to give students experience performing these procedures in a variety of settings.

The Vermont Chimney Sweep Learning Course is offered by the National Chimney Academy, Inc., which has been providing high quality chimney sweeping training since 1972. The curriculum for this course meets or exceeds all requirements set forth by NCCER and the International Chimney Sweep Guild (ISG).

Students will receive instruction on all aspects of chimney cleaning including:

Routine cleaning

Damper maintenance

Damper opening & closing with remote control

Cleaning other types of flues such as metal flues, metal lined flues and dryer vents Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
