[Vermont Licensed Master Social Worker Learning Course] In Vermont, Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) are licensed to provide psychotherapy and assessment services to adults, children, and families; to practice prevention services; and to work in community mental health agencies. In addition, LMSWs can provide case management services, including individualized treatment plans for clients with mental illness.
The LMSW Learning Course is designed for social workers who wish to become licensed as master social workers in Vermont. The course includes a blend of online lessons and face-to-face meetings.
To complete the program, you must:
Complete all online lessons and readings by the stated deadlines
Attend all face-to-face meetings on specified dates at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington
