The Washington State Department of Health has created a free online midwifery Learning Course to assist licensed midwives, certified professional midwives, and direct entry advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in meeting their continuing education requirements. The course offers an overview of the history, scope and practice of midwifery in Washington State, as well as information on how to become licensed as a midwife in Washington State.

Attendance is not required for this course; however, all participants are encouraged to complete the post-test assessment at the end of each module. This will ensure that you retain what you have learned from each module. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
