[Washington (WA) Physician AssistantPhysician Assistant Learning Course] The Physician Assistant Learning Course is a graduate-level program that provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to practice as a physician assistant. The curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
The program consists of two years, each with a six-month clinical rotation. Students complete their clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, private offices and other health care settings in Washington State.
The first year is made up of didactic instruction and an introduction to clinical medicine at Pacific University's Portland campus. The second year includes advanced courses in anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathology and medical procedures. Students also complete their six-month clinical rotation at one of Pacific University's Washington State campuses or at hospitals throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
