Washington (WA) ProsthetistProsthetist is a two-year program leading to a bachelor's degree. Students learn how to fit and adjust artificial limbs and other prosthetic devices for patients with physical disabilities. They may also prescribe medications and evaluate surgical procedures. This course covers topics such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and pathophysiology; clinical skills in fitting, disassembling, and reassembling various prosthetic devices; assessment of patient needs; management of standard and complex prosthetic cases; use of computer software programs for analysis of biomechanics data; and training in the use of computerized databases for storage of patient information.

The program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
