The Washington State Department of Health's Recreational Therapy program provides an opportunity for students to complete the required coursework toward licensure as a Recreational Therapist. Students enrolled in this program must complete the requirements for the associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited school, have passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE), and have completed all entry-level requirements of their respective state board of physical therapy.
