The WV Athletic Training Learning Course is approved by the National Board for Certification in Athletic Training (NBCAT) and administered by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Athletic Trainers. The course is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the certification requirements of the National Board for Certification in Athletic Training (NBCAT).

Course Description: The purpose of the West Virginia Athletic Trainer Learning Course is to provide a comprehensive educational experience, which will allow candidates to demonstrate their mastery of athletic training knowledge, concepts, and skills. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to analyze information from various sources and apply this information to clinically relevant situations using critical thinking and problem solving skills.
