The West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses is a regulatory agency that oversees the profession of nursing in the state. The board regulates and licenses registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nurse assistants (CNAs), nurse midwives, medical doctors and osteopathic physicians who practice in West Virginia. The board also issues temporary permits to qualified applicants who have completed their education but have not yet passed the licensing exam.
The West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses requires applicants who are seeking licensure as a registered dietitian or nutritionist to complete a 30-hour Learning Course through an accredited institution of higher learning. The course must include topics on food service management, advanced nutrition therapy principles and practices, community nutrition problems, community resources and services and research methods relating to nutrition. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
