The West Virginia Insurance Agency Learning Course is a pre-licensing course that is required to apply for your non-resident license. The state of West Virginia requires that you take this course before applying for your non-resident license, so you'll need to complete the course before submitting your application. The course is available online and in print format and includes a CD that contains all the training materials you'll need to pass the exam.

Once you've passed the exam, you can then submit your application with the state of West Virginia. After they approve your application, they will send you an official copy of your insurance agent license along with a temporary certificate of authority (TCA).
