The West Virginia Massage Therapy Practice Act (WV Code Chapter 30-4) requires that all applicants for a license to practice as a massage therapist in West Virginia complete this course and pass the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses (SBORN) examination.

Applicants who have graduated from an accredited program or received their certification from another state are exempt from this requirement. However, if your school does not offer the state board exam, you must still complete this course.

This course is designed to prepare you for the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses (SBORN) examination. It covers anatomy, physiology and pathology; diagnosis and treatment; and professional ethics and laws pertaining to massage therapy practice in West Virginia.
