The following course is approved by the West Virginia Real Estate Commission for real estate appraiser continuing education. It is designed to meet the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and Federal Trade Commission Rules. This course is approved for 4 hours of credit for real estate appraiser continuing education in this state.

This course includes a comprehensive review of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, including an examination of relevant federal regulations as well as other topics such as:

- Principles of appraisal practice (e.g., scope, purpose, definitions, types)

- Appraisal principles and methods (e.g., judgmental, market approach)
