[Wisconsin (WI) EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER License Learning Course] Wisconsin Early Childhood Teacher License Learning Course

The Wisconsin Early Childhood Teacher License Learning Course (WECTPC) is a standards-based, didactic course designed to teach early childhood education teachers how to teach children from birth through age 8 in inclusive settings. The course consists of two components: content and field experiences. The content component is a self-paced online learning experience that includes readings, videos, worksheets, quizzes and case studies.

The WECTPC was developed to support the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Teaching Standards (2015). It is also aligned with NAEYC’s Position Statement on Inclusive Pedagogy and Principles of Effective Teaching (2011).

The WECTPC supports states in their efforts to ensure that all teachers have the knowledge and skills required by the early childhood professional teaching standards (Kehle et al., 2011). This approach ensures that all teachers have the same level of knowledge prior to beginning their careers working with young children. License Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
