Wyoming DENTAL HYGIENIST Learning Course

[Wyoming DENTAL HYGIENIST Learning Course] The Wyoming Dental Hygiene Learning Course is designed to provide an intensive, hands-on experience in patient care. The course consists of two parts: a didactic component and an in-hospital clinical component.

The didactic component covers topics including dental anatomy and physiology, basic oral pathology, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and endodontics. In addition, pharmacology and ethics are also emphasized throughout this portion of the course.

During the in-hospital clinical component students will have the opportunity to work with patients under the supervision of licensed dentists. Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working with patients in the following areas:

General Dentistry (scaling/polishing teeth)

Orthodontics (waxing brackets)

Periodontics (periodontal scaling and root planing)

Pediatric Dentistry (baby bottle tooth decay) Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
