The Wyoming Midwifery Practice Act (W.S. 35-12-101 through 35-12-110) was enacted in 2003 and is one of the most progressive legislation in the United States. The purpose of this law is to encourage and promote the practice of midwifery by establishing standards for education, training, certification, practice and discipline of certified professional midwives who practice in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Board of Nursing has adopted rules for the certification of professional midwives (Wyoming Administrative Rule Chapter 2). Certification requires completion of a national certification examination administered by the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM), successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program, and successful completion of a jurisprudence examination administered by the State Board of Nursing. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study.
