The Wyoming Physician Assistant Practice Act (Chapter 18, Article 3) was passed in 2015 and became effective July 1, 2016. The Physician Assistant Practice Act provides for the licensure of Physician Assistants who are trained to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician.
The Physician Assistant Licensure Compact (PAPC) is an agreement between all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia that facilitates the portability of PA licenses across state lines. Wyoming has adopted the PAPC and will accept applications from out-of-state PAs who meet our requirements for licensure.
This course will provide specific information about licensing requirements in Wyoming as well as information about practicing medicine as a PA in Wyoming.
