The Wyoming Professional Surveyor Learning Course (WPSPC) is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform surveying work in Wyoming. The course provides a foundation of surveying principles and practices, which is enhanced by hands-on experiences that are directly related to specific surveying problems encountered in practice. The course also provides an introduction to the laws and regulations governing the practice of engineering in Wyoming.
The WPSPC is divided into two parts: Part I includes lecture materials that are completed online using an eTextbook and PDF files; Part II consists of on-the-job experience under the supervision of a licensed professional surveyor.
Part I consists of approximately 40 hours of instruction, including lectures, demonstrations and computer-based activities which require approximately 10 hours per week for 6 weeks. Students must complete all online assignments before starting Part II. This portion of the course will be offered from November through December 2018. Learning Course is a platform that helps students to study and learn. The platform provides all the required material for the students to study. The material includes Study guide, Exam Questions & Answers, Study Notes and other resources that are useful for the students. It also gives information about the upcoming exams so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.
