Wyoming Radiologic Technologists & Technicians Learning Course

[Wyoming Radiologic Technologists & Technicians Learning Course] This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to become a radiologic technologist or technician. The course covers fundamental concepts and principles of diagnostic radiology, radiation protection, equipment operation and the use of imaging modalities in the practice setting.

The Wyoming Radiologic Technologists & Technicians Learning Course includes over 80 hours of classroom instruction plus time in our state-of-the-art simulation laboratories. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on clinical experiences including simulation laboratory sessions, patient care at an off-campus hospital as well as an off-campus hospital day that includes a tour of the facility and lunch with local providers.

Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible to take the national certification examination administered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
